Better days are within reach

We specialize in treating adults with chronic mental health conditions and neurodevelopmental differences who are struggling to function in their daily life:

  • Anxiety

  • Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

  • Life Transitions

  • Trauma / PTSD

What To Expect

  • Our first meeting will include a thorough evaluation of your current lifestyle, including your medical history, current symptoms, medications and services provided by other healthcare professionals.

We will discuss anything related to your diagnosis or reason for referral. Then you will discuss your typical daily and weekly routines in order to better understand how you currently occupy your time, as well as lifestyle components such as eating patterns and habits, physical activity levels, stress coping strategies, challenging times/situations, sleep routines and time management skills.

We will also discuss the environment in which you live/work/study/exist to identify supports and barriers. At the end of the evaluation, we will collaborate to set personally meaningful goals which become the focus of ongoing sessions.

  • OT sessions are generally recommended once per week. We will work toward your individual goals with a focus on active engagement in meaningful or purposeful activities, education, planning and problem-solving, and increasing self-awareness.

Sessions will provide the opportunity to feel supported, to take action, to learn more about yourself and how you want to live your life.

  • Every 3 months or as needed we will complete a re-evaluation to determine progress towards your goals and any changes in needs.

  • As you progress towards meeting your goals and gaining independence in managing your condition and reengaging in daily life, we will discuss discontinuation of services.

  • As part of your evaluation and on-going treatment, we will collaborate with your other healthcare providers (eg. primary care, psychiatrist, psychologist, mental health counselor) to ensure we understand all of your needs for a comprehensive approach.

A physician’s order for occupational therapy evaluation and treatment is required before services can begin. We will contact your doctor to obtain this order.

We are licensed to work with individuals in Arkansas, Ohio, and Washington.
